Help with Smritika

Where are my stories kept? On your phone, inside Smritika. Recordings, photos and words stay with you. We do not receive them.

How do I keep a copy safe? After you keep a story, Smritika offers a backup. Choose Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or send it to a brother or sister. Keep at least one copy off your phone.

Is Smritika free? Recording and keeping every story is free, forever. Making the book is a one-time purchase that covers every parent and grandparent you record, shared with your family through Family Sharing.

I bought the book on another phone. Open Settings in Smritika and tap Restore purchase, using the same Apple ID.

My parent speaks Tamil (or another language). The recording is always kept perfectly in any language. Smritika writes down English today. Tap Request your language in Settings, and we build languages in the order families ask for them.

A name is written wrongly. Open the story and correct the words. Your corrections never change the recording.
